# Mining & Network Formation

<figure><img src="/files/epIGQuhswq5JulWMaPkT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Pee Network introduces a mobile-first mining model for its native asset, $PN, designed to enable global participation in the formation and growth of the network.

Rather than functioning solely as a reward mechanism, mining serves as a foundational component of the network's distribution and adoption strategy. It provides an accessible pathway for individuals to contribute to the ecosystem while establishing ownership within the emerging economic infrastructure.

The mining model fulfills two primary objectives:

* To facilitate broad and decentralized distribution of the network's native asset.
* To establish an early community of participants whose interests are aligned with the long-term growth and sustainability of the ecosystem.

Unlike traditional mining systems that depend on specialized hardware, significant energy consumption, or technical barriers to entry, Pee Network adopts an accessibility-first approach. Participation is designed to be available through widely accessible mobile devices, enabling network growth at a scale that is not constrained by computing resources.

This model shifts the focus of network formation from hardware competition to community participation.

By lowering barriers to entry, Pee Network creates a more inclusive distribution framework capable of supporting large-scale adoption while strengthening the relationship between network participants and ecosystem development.

As the network expands, mining serves not only as a mechanism for asset distribution but also as a tool for ecosystem alignment—connecting ownership, participation, and long-term value creation within a single economic framework.

Through this approach, Pee Network accelerates network formation, promotes decentralized ownership, and establishes the foundation for a globally distributed participant economy.

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://pee-network.gitbook.io/pee-network-docs/mining-and-network-formation.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
